The Chicago Mikes Story
Mike moved his family to Gardnerville, NV back in June 1973 with a dream of opening a Chicago Style Pizza Joint. Mike spent two months looking for the perfect location to start his pizza joint dream. Unsuccessful in finiding the perfect spot, Mike moved his family back to Chicago, tucking his pizza joint dreams away.
Twenty-Eight years later, Mike again moved back to Gardnerville, NV only this time to begin his retirement.
In March 2007, Mike's middle daughter Gina, moved her family to Gardnerville. This move brought the pizza joint dream to life once again. In 2015, Mike and Gina joined forces to bring Mike's pizza dream to life.
Together they have brought Gardnerville an Authentic Chicago Style Pizza Joint, "Chicago Mikes", a neighborhood place for families to gather and community sports teams to celebrate.
